It is air-hardening, high carbon, high chromium tool steel. This die steel is widely utilized in extrusion tools and metal sawing tools. It has high wear and abrasion resisting properties. Further, its mechanical properties are very sensitive to heat treatment and it can also be used for shear blades, planer blades, & industrial cutting tools. Apart from this, D2 Cold Die Steel is obtainable in different sizes and specifications as per demands of customers.
